We are delighted to have been announced as the winner of the ‘Sustainable Beverage Manufacturer of the Year’, at the Australian Containers for Change, Change Maker Awards.
We were recognised at the awards ceremony for our Carbon Neutral certification since the day our company began, for our continued commitment to further reducing emissions by blowing our own recycled (Yaru) PET bottles on site, and for purchasing all of our components here in Australia. We were also congratulated on stage for our extensive rainforest regeneration program, and our ‘more than water’ social enterprise, Yaru, which delivers and supports projects that help to create better health outcomes in Indigenous communities throughout Australia.
Tessa Martin, Director of The Mount Warning Beverage Co said;
“This award means so much to us as a company, as we have worked extremely hard to operate in a sustainable manner since inception. To be recognised in this forum means a great deal to the team who work tirelessly to maximise our impact in the areas of sustainability and community. This award recognises the daily efforts of all team members who continue to put sustainability at the forefront of everything they do; from supply chain measures and production efficiencies to environmental practices and community initiatives across Australia. We feel very proud of this accolade.”
